The groove type compost turner are also called as guide rail type compost turner, which is usually used in the fermentation and turning of the poultry manure, sludge and garbage, filter mud, sugar dregs cake, straw sawdust and other organic waste. It is widely used in the fermentation and compost job of organic fertilizer plant, compound fertilizer plant, sludge and waste treatment plant, garden spot, agaricus bisporus growing plant, etc,.
Working Principle
On both sides of the fermentation tank’s walls are installed tracks for the compost turner’s movement. The movement system of the compost turner is powered by a walking motor, which drives the walking wheels to move back and forth on the tracks through chain transmission. As the compost turner advances, the rotating blades on the working components throw and crush the lower bedding materials in the fermentation bed forward and upward. During the throwing process, the bedding materials come into full contact with the air, allowing for adjustment of moisture and temperature, thereby promoting microbial fermentation. Once the compost turner reaches the end of the fermentation bed, the working platform is lifted to a certain height using hydraulic cylinders, and the walking motor speed is adjusted by a frequency control device to quickly return the device to the starting point, completing one cycle of the working process.
